Behavior Network

Our mission is to teach individuals to function and live as independently as possible.

What is Applied Behavior Analysis?

Applied behavior analysis is the process of systematically applying interventions based upon the principles of learning theory to improve socially significant behaviors to a meaningful degree, and to demonstrate that the interventions employed are responsible for the improvement in behavior (Baer, Wolf & Risley, 1968; Sulzer-Azaroff & Mayer, 1991).

What We Offer

Crisis Center

Our Crisis Center provides treatment to children, adolescents, and adults with developmental disabilities who display difficult behaviors such as noncompliance, tantrums, property destruction, self-injury, aggression, and refusals. The primary focus of the Crisis Center is to train parents and caregivers how to actively manage problem behaviors more effectively.

TEA Day and Residential Program

Behavior Network is a Texas Education Agency (TEA) approved non-public day program. Behavior Living offers residential services to further the community impact of our mission statement “teach individuals to function and live as independently as possible”. This program provides a secure and safe place to live while receiving intensive treatment services at our clinic.

Early Intervention Program

Our Early Childhood Intervention (ECI) program is for children ages 2-6 years old. We offer a full-time schedule for children diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder. This program follows a daily schedule that is designed to give our clients multiple opportunities to work on social skills, working in a group, play skills, and language expansion.

Adolescent Services

Our adolescent program is for all school-aged individuals that need additional supports in order to be successful in a school or group environment. This is a 1:1 service that are provided in the clinic environment and are used to teach a variety of skills such as communication, language expansion, social skills, self-help and hygiene routines, and participating in group activities.

Adult Services

For our adult program and treatment plans, we work individually with adults with disabilities to overall increase their level of independence. Services will be tailored to the adult and their specific needs across all settings in the home, center-based, workplace, and the community, with a focus on short term and long term goals.

Social Skills

Social skills groups offer an opportunity for individuals to practice their own social skills while interacting with others as well. In small group settings, we provide our patients the opportunity to develop conversation skills, make friends, solve problems, understand the perspectives of others, and expand other communication skills.

Counseling

Our Counselors utilize an integrative cognitive-behavioral, person-centered approach while incorporating other techniques to facilitate growth and independence. Services can be individual and/or include the whole family unit/support system. Each client is evaluated and treatment is individualized based on their specific needs.
